is probably 6+ months away. The issue is that the online retailers haven't done jack $hit to combat the bots. Bots are written in such a way that they can solve captcha puzzles now, so the retailers need to be more creative in how the handle orders. I think if there were more ways to "pre-order" that might be one way to tackle things. So many people I know just want to spend their money on something that they can't buy right now. If I were Sony I would take their money and tell them that the will get their console delivered by (insert logical future date here)
