It was the right decision for ND if the Irish wanted to play Fall

football. For a while it looked like the B1G and Pac-12 were going to sit out the season and maybe play in the Spring. The SEC decided not to play any OOC games so ND playing a full ACC schedule made lots of sense.
For the most part I am glad it worked out the way it did. It meant Clemson was not gong to win the conference without at least breaking a sweat. IMO, the ACC Title game will be the biggest game of the entire season. Major draw for the TV audience. Good for the Conference and good for ND. If Clemson wins close, then I'm guessing the ACC gets two teams in the Playoffs along with Bama and Ohio State.
