That leaves the physically gifted/completely dedicated players as those who are entitled to get a shot at the pros at minimum as an un-drafted slot. If you mean some feel entitled but are not then I believe the social and legal systems have developed much of this with talk and rulings of big payoffs while in college. The same thing basketball addressed by allowing 1 and out. As much I do not like that it does tell the players who the pros do not want that thry are not entitled to elite status so better work hard on studies or they will be out of college.
