I put these on my gutter 2.5 yrs ago and they are great. I have many pines

in my yard - Virginia Beach. I still have to rake my roof clear ~4 times a year and sweep the pollen and fines off the top of the guards 1-2 times a year, but way better than de-clogging. The gutters themselves have been spotless.

Unfortunately, the guards aren't strong enough to stop a 6" falling limb from ripping 3 feet of gutter clean out during a hurricane, but I'm pretty sure I couldn't afford anything that could.
