Gottlieb talked about that this AM. A "shortcut" they took in developing


the Pfizer vaccine was working on developing the formulation so that it wouldn't require storage at those cold temperatures. Said that would've taken another six months, and so that many more people would have bad outcomes. Said they are still working on developing the formulation, so you can expect some improvements in a year or two.

The Moderna vaccine also needs to be stored at really cold temps, but can be removed from that real cold storage and stored at refrigerator temperatures for 30 days.
