Few years ago, about a dozen cars in my neighborhood


had windows broken and stuff stolen overnight out of cars in people's driveways. Pretty typical suburban neighborhood.

As chance would have it, that was the one-in-a-hundred case where I forgot to lock my car. So I managed to escape the broken window. Still had my GPS and a couple other things taken, but at least I didn't have to fix a window too.
