Yup ND with 1 loss is likely to make it

Statistically, it is unlikely a 1 loss ND will be left out - especially if the game is close.

There are 3 spots left if Clemson wins out.

Big 12: The only hope is if OK State runs the table, but they still likely wouldn't hurdle ND. OK State wouldn't have a marque win.

Big 10: The team will need to be undefeated, as they only played 8 or 9 games.

PAC: The team will need to be undefeated, as they only played 7 games (and even 7-0 may not deserve a spot over 11-1 Notre Dame)

SEC: The SEC winner will take a spot, so if FL, BAMA, or A&M have 1 loss do they deserve it more than ND? They probably do, but not if one of them gets blown out.

You've got to like ND's chances if they can finish the regular season undefeated.
