I almost agree

My concern while watching the game, the entire time, I am like, you are VA Tech playing LIBERTY. For crying out loud. You play football in the ACC. You have been recruited and play for what used to be a top football program and a nationally known football program. How in the world are you getting blown off the line of scrimmage by Liberty. How are you not moving the ball at will. Why are we calling the same QB read option keeper over and over and over. How can this team not have any other options that are more equipped to compete against Liberty.

That too me is what is frustrating. I get it. They are kids. And any point, kids from anywhere can compete with kids from anywhere. But in theory, the kids recruited to play for a power 5, “should” be more gifted, faster, stronger, higher football iq,

Even if the Hokies had won the game. If the coach didn’t call the timeout at the end of the game, I still would feel the same way, like what is going on.

There is a ton of talent on this Hokies’ team, you can see it.

The mess after the timeout. Where the corners all played 20 yards or more off the ball because they were expecting a Hail Mary, that too is on the coach, and well done by Liberty on their gift of the “mulligan”.

I am personally not calling for massive change yet, hell, this Covid mess if truly a hot mess. But how much time does coach get to turn it around. At what point do you call this, it’s now his players, his recruits, his team, his schemes, and lets evaluate the performance from there.
