After having run 500+ rounds through it, just field stripped and cleaned my MP 2.0 for the first time. Nice and slick now. No leftover pieces. Better than new. Yay.

We're enrolled in NC CCP classes for January 2, the next soonest date at our range. Since it's a 10-hour class, the kids will go to doggie daycare nearby.

TSO's handgun permit approval has entered the final week of processing. My approval in snail-slow Mecklenburg County took 11.5 weeks; hers is in its 12th week. The two local adjacent NC counties to us take on average less than 2 weeks.

TSO purchased her MP 2.0 two months ago and it's held in layaway, so when this phase is done we'll both have our own firearms.

Once we've completed the NC CCP class we take our certificates to Sheriff Snail, get fingerprinted and then wait at least another two months for that permit to be issued.
