Follow up to my car shopping post below, TSO needed a driver's license

because there's no way for us to pick up the new car if she can't drive one of them home. She had a VA license that expired 3 years ago and a valid Mexican license. I fully expected her to have to at the very least take a written test since I think VA would have made her take it again due to the expired license. Florida? Nope. It was literally give them the VA license, prove you can see, and then say you don't do drugs. Bam, new license. Okay, it was also 55 bucks (geez!), but they seemed all too willing to give her a license to drive. Of course, I had to change the address on mine before we moved here to prove I was a resident of the county (school stuff) and did it online. Switched from a regular license to a real ID. They asked for no proof of anything with regards to the new address, nor did they ask me to prove anything additionally to get the Real ID. All I had to do was enter the new address, pay 25 bucks, and wait for it to arrive in the mail. I guess the fact that I could receive the new license at the new address was proof enough that I lived there.
