We’re at 75% and the wife & I are back to 3 meals w/beverages a week at our favorite places around town. (Most in the suburbs survived. Several of our fav’s in the city didn’t). Usually Friday HH, late lunch / early dinner on Saturday & Sunday Brunch. All other meals prepared at home. We also like to cook.

Other than masks while walking in, the only real difference I notice is no standing at the bar. We’re allowed to sit at the bar (most have removed some stools so you’re not touching your neighbors), but most of our haunts have a fairly full bar area.

What continues to piss me off is they won’t let bars open. A bar in Texas is a place that has 51% alcohol sales. This includes most music venues & most breweries. Some breweries have brought in food trucks & some high end cocktail bars have stopped selling some of the really high end stuff ($15 + pours).

But at the same time I can go to any restaurant that also has a bar & drink w/o ordering food. Just doesn’t make sense.
