Mexico. The airport experience was stressful, but the flight was pleasantly the opposite. We upgraded to first class, but the flight ended up being half empty despite Aeromexico not blocking out the middle seats.

We're in Sanford, FL. I've been spending the last two weeks submitting job applications, being a "learning coach" in my daughter's Seminole County Virtual classes, helping my dad with long forgotten maintenance issues at the house, and remembering that I never missed political ads while living in Mexico. Seriously, every commercial break? At this point, I'll write in my dad's chocolate lab for everything except Sheriff. There's a guy named Spike running for Sheriff. How can he not get my vote?

I've landed two interviews and advanced to the next stage of the hiring process after both. Everything virtually obviously. One job is a virtual position with a decent salary and benefits. The other is an office job close to the house but with a lower salary. The latter will probably resolve first, so if I'm lucky enough to get an offer, I'll have a decision to make. Not worrying about that now though. I'm thrilled to have interviewed twice in two weeks.

VT porch flag is up, I can find college football all over the TV, and I'm ready to watch the Hokies without the need for a VPN or Slingbox. I'll probably need some job search advice at some point, so I'll be expecting the Lounge to step up it's game (serious and TIC advice welcome).
