Really? why not have one feeder lane?

I don't get what she would be so upset about. Why she wouldn't she want the customer that was there before her to be helped before her? Why not have a feeder line so that the customers get helped in the order that they arrived? Same as if you went inside the bank. They usually have a feeder line roped off so that the next customer gets the next available teller. Especially at the bank, someone could need a lot of time to complete their transaction versus another person who is just dropping off a deposit. I should wait 15 minutes behind someone because I picked the wrong lane, while multiple customers behind me get helped?
