To be fair, that wasn’t on Chesterfield. The system couldn’t handle the


load. The issue wasn’t on their side and they had no way to load test. Now, maybe they could’ve staggered logins for the first day but the problem still would’ve happened eventually as soon as they didn’t stagger logins. The good news is they communicated the issue quickly and had it resolved within a few hours. Reminds me of my old system upgrade days that they always had us do in the middle of the night even though we were a 24-7 manufacturing facility. Our load tests could never quite match the real load on all systems.
