When I first moved in, I got a free water bed from a co-worker and only when I filled it the first time did I discover the leak that was the reason behind the "free". Took forever to get that squared away then the wall facing the street began leaking every time it rained. The landlord tried to have some kinda shmutz pumped into the foundation wall, to no avail. Finally after a couple of tries he told me the place was unsafe for habitation and he evicted me.
