Your daughter still in NOLA?? My son was in first few weeks at Rice U when


Katrina and Rita came through. My darling first ex-wife kept calling me and asking "what are you going to do about YOUR son???" She was pretty freaked out. Rice was telling them to stay put. Mayor of Houston was telling everyone to leave. I got him a plane ticket home to NC and called him and gave him one hour to get to the airport for a trip home or to be on the road with friends to get out of Tejus. He and some buds ended up Oklahoma partying at some school for a week. He later thanked me for making him leave when he did because all the roads became a nightmare with folks leaving. They got on some back roads just in time. Of course was pissed when I gave him his initial options!
