my 26 year old son kept thinking he heard a growl. We were by ourselves on a section of trail and he was leading on a trail through a thicket-like patch. We were moving semi-fast and he would stop..did you hear that? I was like, what? We'd stop and nothing. He heard it a couple of times, maybe his younger ears could hear better than mine.
