Rainy day in the big city

but that's about it, just a hard, steady rain here in Columbia MD, guessing the storm is or has just passed to the east of us ~ 10am but hard to pinpoint anything. then, supposedly it all gets turned off at noon. May walk down to the Middle Patuxent river to see the flooding, (no danger there, the abandoned road goes down at a pretty consistent slope) we're west of the fall line so it gets confined to shallow ravines although there might be some low bridges around.

Sleep of the gods last night I guess with this cool weather, got up at 9:30 which I haven't done in a long time a "capitulation" sleep, ie, it finally catches up with you, you needed it and got it. (especially after a couple hours of tennis yesterday) That felt good.
