mostly football and basketball (I'm not sure of the exact #s but whatever the number, it should make us all sick that sports coaches make more $ than college presidents and governors - who actually have more important responsibilities for our society and future of this country. And then there's the assistant HCs, associate HCs, and associate assistant HC (or assistant associate HCs..swhatever), the O&D coordinators, and actual position coaches, recruiting coordinators, assistant recruiting coordinators, assistant to the assistant recruiting coordinators, O&D QC coaches, video analysts, yada, yadaother staff members/directors of this and that, and let's not forget the analysts (doesn't Alabama have a dozen or more analysts on staff?), and didn't Buzz have ~ten statisticians on his staff here at VTand on and on. Nope, sorry, not all the money is well spent. All these colleges have bought into this ridiculous, unsustainable bubble called college sports where millions are passed around to the elite to perpetuate this bubble where 1 or 2 sports pay for all sports at a college (how did this happen?)and does anyone stop to ask why are we utilizing our higher-education institutions like this? I love VT but we're as guilty as everyone else.
