Football revenue doesn't go into the pockets of some billionaire owners... It goes to support the rest of the college athletics. These players aren't getting taken advantage of... the money necessary to run just football programs and build the types of facilities they all want doesn't even get covered by traditional revenue - it gets covered largely by large donors. Even then, most schools are struggling to stay in the black.

Paying players anything over enhanced stipends will not only kill half the football programs in the country, it will eliminate most of college sports. As a former player, I'm all for increasing the stipends $1-2K per month but anything more than that these players are cutting off their nose to spite their face. Other than coaches, who these players think are getting rich off them? It's not the schools (that money is going to other sports and student athletes) and it's not the admin.
