AMEN.. like so many others, I saw firsthand. It is heartbreaking->


to see a "man's man" a Marine WW2 & Korean War vet who came from the slums and made a wonderful life for our family (as well as my VT football buddy for over 20 years every week) hit by that hideous disease.

I am thankful that he left this world 5 weeks after my mom and BEFORE it took everything he had. He got out of here with some dignity intact, but MANY (even most do not). As much as I hated to see him go, it was obvious he was ready and he knew us up to the end...

Sorry for the rant.,but I DESPISE what that disease does to people!
