We had our son convinced the garage door opened to "open-says-a-me"


Any time we would hear him bragging to his friends, my wife or I would run to the garage door opener and push the button once we heard the command. All the kids would go nuts. We fessed up once he was about 8. He was a little pissed but couldn't help laughing.

On the real spooky side, my grandmother-in-law was a devout Catholic, who was about to die in UVA hospital. My brother in law went out to look for a priest to do last rights, but after a bit he gave up. As he approached her room, he was happy to see a priest just leaving. They pretty much just waved to each other, then he went inside to talk to his grandmother. She was so happy he found her a priest and she was comforted. When she died about an hour later, he went to go thank the priest, but he couldn't find him. He asked around, and none of the nurses were aware of the priest and none recognized anyone by the description he provided. He even went to security and no one had signed in and no priest was seen during that time frame. My brother in law was completely spooked by the incident and still gets uncomfortable with that story. It happened in the early 90s.
