We worked until 10-12 pm every week day. Saturdays and Sundays were 8-12 hr days. The acquiring company wanted to do the whole acquisition in 5 weeks. There were only 3 of us who could do meaningful work on the seller side (our client).

We ordered every take out delivery that could deliver to our office in Lansdowne, which wasn't that many. We never left the office except to go home and sleep. I was so sick of Thai food, peruvian chicken, and vocelli pizza/subs. One time my boss had to go to the bank and he called and said, while I'm out do we need anything? I told him I was sick of everything how about ice cream. He was like YES! we need ice cream and came back with a whole bunch of different ones. We have an espresso machine so we put ice cream with a shot of espresso poured over it for the last week of the event. All through this I still had to dress up and go to meetings. Ugh. Was worth it though. Made some money because I was a small investor in series B. And my boss paid me for all 360 hours, billed it to the client. Took me 4 months to get the 10 lbs off that I put on in 4 weeks,
