When I worked at a hotel I discoverd a guest that took their own life

That was over 20 years ago. Turned out the guest had a disease and did not have much time to live. I will never forget the act of kindness from the General Manager of the hotel. He arranged for me to take my young wife to a fancy dinner at one of the nicest restaurants in town to help clear my mind. No matter the bad stuff that happens in life there always seem to be kind people to help you get through it.
