And how following the well intentioned, but short sighted will of the people can ruin things, look no further than Kalifornia.

Cali was doing fine until they realized they could directly enact legislation and bypass the whole representative legislation process.

In that system, wouldn't take that much effort to get dihydrous monoxide banned.
