It was Carlyle's until 1976-77. They used the TD and TDC names for....


their version of the Hokie Burger. Like the Hokie House, their burger was on toasted French Bread. If the Sports Center was what followed in the late 70s, they might have kept the names.
Carlyle's was my go-to c. 71-75. Carlyles had a sub sandwich that was unlike any other I've ever had. I'm still not sure what was in it, however.
