Anyone own a Ryobi battery operated trimmer/edger? Any good?

I need new batteries for my drill/saw/leafblower, and HD is having what seems like a great special. $99 for two batteries and charger, then I can also choose one from all sorts of other ryobi stuff for no additional charge I need a new edger, but never used one of theirs. My electric black and decker is good, but I go through a spool every time I edge sidewalks/driveway/fences.
