I know they have cut stuff out of Fantasia. They also put out DVDs of
animated shorts where they'd have Leonard Malton talk about offensive stuff before the short played. Pinocchio had a disclaimer about tobacco and alcohol because he gets drunk and sick from beer and cigars in the Pleasure Island segment. It's amazing. I watched that movie countless times growing up and now I don't smoke or drink. The Pecos Bill short had the part where he rolls his own cigarette with his tounge cut out on the DVD release. I'm fine with an educated discussion about why certain scenes or films may be offensive, but I'm generally against cutting stuff out or banning films. As an adult, I have to have the good judgement of what I want to watch or what I don't want to watch. I also have to have the good judgement as a parent to deal with what my kids watch and how they interpret it.
