Yes...usually considerably.


But I also think we're conflating terms a bit here. One...is he actually qualified for "Obamacare" (ie, subsidized health care plan)...or would he just be out on the individual marketplace.

Even then individual marketplace is likely to be cheaper than COBRA as most individual plans aren't nearly as rich as many employer subsidized plans.
