I tend to agree with the owners on their pro rata


Decision. Even if the season got cut in half the owners wouldn’t make 100% of the money they normally would on the 1/2 season. Without full fans in attendance they aren’t getting full revenues they normally do. The players wanted to get 100% of their salary for whatever games were played. So the owners were the ones taking it on the chin for Lower concessions, ticket sales and merchandise but still paying the players full price for those games. The superstars will be fine without a season. The other guys on the roster are going to take a bearing in a shutdown. I feel bad for the player who only has a few years in the league as they will Burn one of them In 2020 without getting paid. Many will have to find other jobs. The owners are in a better position to sit it out.
