Dear residents,

The Board and CAMS hope this message finds you and your family healthy and well.

The Board and CAMS continue to work on a plan to open the pool in a manner most suitable for the entire neighborhood. Until that plan is finalized and communicated to the entire community, the pool will remain closed.

We have studied the guidelines provided by government officials and have worked to apply them to our specific situation. Our plan requires the presence of a pool monitor and our new pool vendor just confirmed this weekend that they will be able to meet our staffing needs.

We also have been working to source the needed cleaning supplies (approved by the CDC) to be able to follow the published guidelines with respect to disinfecting high touch areas. With reopening occurring in many segments across the city, county and state, these supplies are in very high demand. We have ordered the supplies early last week and are waiting for their arrival. However, if residents are able to provide them to the HOA on an interim basis, please contact CAMS to discuss it further.

The Board and CAMS are committed to gradually open the facilities and common areas as responsibly as possible. We are all dealing with unprecedented times. There are residents who believe that our amenities should reopen without restrictions. There are also residents who believe there should be a lot of restrictions. The same spectrum is true for Board members. As a result, the Board understands and respects all points of view. Nevertheless, the Board’s plan has to be approved by the Board majority. Therefore, it is not about what Board members think personally about the situation. Instead, it is about finding common ground and approving a plan that will have a majority approval and will be most suitable for the entire community.
