I was in love

Remember being in a breakfast dive in Virginia Beach: eggs, bacon and coffee, no sleep, my skin on fire from "the great burn of '74" soaking in the air conditioning; and Linda was the background musak singing "Silver pins and Golden Needles" worked as a needed balm. As someone mentioned below it's strange what you remember. I knew who she was but that kicked off my Linda Rondstadt phase for real.

Saw her at Cassell coliseum, believe Vassar Clements was the opening act, grate in itself. (or did they open for Heart?)
