yes, dad at 18 dollars and hour 24 x7 is expensive when he died. It would of been 12k a month.

Luckily my dad only live a week and went down fast. He last wish was to die in his home and he got that.


I will tell you a funny story about my dad.

The day before he died my baby sister, her husband, and their two girls along with I was there beside his bed. I said we needed to give him one last toast because he was really out of it. I went and got the grand marnier and poured 5 shots for everyone. I pour a quarter shot glass to rub his lips with.

My sister spoke first, then my brother in law etc. He woke up as my sister started speaking and with a shaking hand push her arm away to get his shot. We all spoke and took our shots. He did to.

My sister thought we just killed him. I told her if we did, that is the way he would want to go.

He recovered from the shot. He was wide awake and thank us for such a nice toast and went back to sleep. He died the next day.
