On this date in 2008, Hokies beat Michigan twice to advance to World Series


Best of 3 series and the Hokies had lost 1-0 on Saturday to put themselves in a hole

But they bounced back on Sunday. The Hokies won the first game 1-0 as Angela Tincher threw a 3 hitter and struck out 15 to force a deciding game 3, which they won 6-1 to punch their ticket to Oklahoma City.

We'll be back there one day.
