Time to board the United B787, manned by a crew of 3, 1 Capt and 2 FOs. We boarded quickly and pushed back 30m mins early - only about a dozen in Biz Class (including 4 Fedex pilots) and maybe twice that in steerage. The flight time was 30 mins shorter too, and we landed in SFO about an hour early.

Service was okay, better than I expected, but still below par, though the FAs were mostly nice. Watched 1917 finally, then got about 4 hrs of sleep on the 8.5 hr flight.

Immigration and customs in SFO was pretty easy, but I had noob immigration officer and he was caught off guard when I told him all the countries I've visited in the last 14 days. He had to get a supervisor, who waved me right through (as aircrew we some exemptions, otherwise no one would get the rubber doggie dog they ordered online 😉).

I have 2 more UAL flights today SFO-ORD-RDU, and get to Raleigh about 9pm. I should get to SoPines and home by 1045p.
