Not sure how much of it is greedy bastards and how much is just a hoplessly

broken system that has driven runaway inflation. As you say, with employers providing health insurance, and health insurance paying the bills, there are too many degrees of separation between the providers, payers, and consumers of health care. Capitalism just doesn't work in that structure.

Something needs to break that logjam. And I have no idea what it even could be.
