Your post lacks any context. SARS and MERS both had vaccines in development


and stopped, generally, because of lack of importance once those diseases didn't proliferate. Both vaccines actually made it to clinical human trials. Did any other corona viruses ever even warrant or work on a potential vaccine?

See how this context changes the outlook of your post? Don't get me wrong, I'm basically an "open up" guy but I'm not going to use bad arguments when saying it.
