I always hate these accounts. She's relaying information she heard from
another person working there. Sounds like some of it is accurate, but much of it is exaggerated or embellished. Not because the front-line nurse is TRYING to exaggerate or embellish reality, but because she is frustrated and overwhelmed and emotional from it all. And the best way to deal with such a difficult time is to vent to a listening ear, and here, that ear has to relay that same information AGAIN, adding more possible embellishments because she is also frustrated for her friend. Hard to tell what is the real truth to it, but I'm sure there is some... and I think some things have changed in treatments, because I heard a drug in there I don't think they give any longer.
I don't know... just the way I am seeing things as I watched this.
