The metrics don’t work for states that have extremely low levels of death.


You think that North Dakota is going to have two weeks of declining deaths? The CDC guidelines are just that, guidelines. Makes complete sense for places like NY or the US at a macro level. Doesn’t make sense for Virginia at this stage. So yes, they are flawed.

Regardless of them being flawed, if you are going to announce that those are the metrics that will be used, then you should damn sure make sure those metrics are available.
