He’s not a big 197 but did well overall throughout the season and man was he close to beating #2 WVU Adams.
He’ll hopefully jump levels next season.
I don’t think he needs to be a weight room junkier either to improve. Just focus on explosive power training. Also, if he can up his cardio he’ll crush a lot of dudes in the 3rd period. Ty walz broke lots of dudes mentally by jogging back to the center of the mat on restarts throughout the match. Then his superior cardio kicked in the 3rd and he broke them physically.
