Thnkx. My curiosity got really going after looking at cruise ship

info. How do 2 cabinmates (essentially quaranteened together for days/week(s)) end up with one seriously ill and the other not at all??

2 things came to mind either 1) its harder to transmit unless there is common source (like saliva, etc. Not stuff like door knobs, faucet handles, or even sneeze droplets, etc), or 2) the cabin mate was immune - which, ofc leads to the monster being in the wild earlier than thought. Wasnt sure which was right, or both. Just didnt make sense. Which leads to more questions

Learned more since then. That was when my interest picked up. Especially so, as major public policy decisions were hanging in the balance. And still do today.

The models arent even right the day they are published/updated. As an engineer once upon a time, that really bugs me. A modeleer can at least get the starting conditions/predictions correct for that day I would hope.
