His son-in-law contracted the virus. They were together several times before SIL showed any signs. He started bad, went to hospital in CVille (not UVA), eventually recovered. It got to the point of discussing a ventilator, but he didn't.

Then about a week later my uncle's wife started a fever and showing mild signs, but nothing strong enough to get tested. My uncle was feeling the same way most of last week, but it got to the point on Thurs/Fri he had to go in. He's been on a ventilator for a couple days now. They want to try the Gilead drug, but his other lab numbers haven't allowed them to do it yet.
