Bagged mulch cheaper than bulk? Country Max near us is advertising bags


that have 3 cubic feet per bag, 4 for $12. So that's essentially $1 per cubic foot. A "Yard" is 27 cubic feet, so that's $27 per yard essentially.

Meanwhile, bulk mulch is $36 to $42 per yard, depending on the quality and color you want.

Both would have delivery fees of some sort, though it's possible that delivery for the bags isn't even an option. I haven't checked.

So does that make sense to you all? The manufacturing process of filling up the bags is so efficient that it beats out just buying piles of mulch?
