Except, ncsu beat UGA, not UVA, in the semis. I remember because I was a


grad student at UGA then. NCSU beat UVA in a regional finals, and UGA beat UNC in a regional finals. That UNC team had Jordan and Perkins, and UGA was led by Vern Fleming one season after Dominique Wilkins left early for the NBA.
