Frustrated about required subscriptions to online publications during COVID

Does anybody find it frustrating when you read a post or article which has a link to something like Washington Post, NY Times, Baltimore Sun (you name another publication) and you can't read it because they want you to pay for it. You would think in these times, as a public service, they would allow people to get as much information as possible without having to pay more. I get it that these are businesses that are already struggling in the digital market, but there are a lot of industries that are sacrificing for the good of all.

Thoughts?
