I'm pretty sure it's everywhere.
My son lives in a big apartment building in Arlington and has had a flu-like illness since last Friday-ish. He has stayed home from work all week. Today he decided to call around to see if he should be tested. Called our large family doctor and they said that they have aren't testing anyone and have no test kits. Called the urgent care across the street and they said the same thing. Called Virginia Hospital Center and they said he should come in but unless he has been out of the country or come into contact with a known carrier, they were not authorized to test him. This seems wrong to me. How are they going to know if how widespread it is if they don't test anyone? He has an appointment for tomorrow but is thinking about whether he wants to even go over there to expose himself to other viruses.
