I had to run to school many times to not be late. It was on 7:30 to 8 AM


where I lived. School started at 8. It was a little less than 1/2 mile. The show usually ended at 7:55 or so, to allow time for the commercials, but 5 minutes wasn't really enough time for me to get to school with a margin of safety, so I'd usually miss the last couple of minutes of actual story, then have to catch up on it somehow at the start of the next morning's show.

Also, I'm still amazed to this day that the local programmers didn't know in advance about the moments of near nudity.
