The 3 starters that have 4 starts have a 2.95 ERA or lower! Good starting pitching. We have 6 pitchers that have seen time in relief with below a 1.50 ERA. 3 of them are freshman and one sophomore. The biggest issue is the vets in the bullpen, IMO. Brzykcy and Okuna have got to do better. I think there is room for the staff to improve quite a bit as the season goes forward. We just played a top 30 GT team even in their place. We could have won every game easily with a little better from the pen. I am going to buy VT baseball stock for now. MAybe it is time to give the youngsters more opportunities.
