Question re: Blacksburg music scene in th early 80s:

Can anyone tell me anything about a band called Katharsis and their LP "Drivin Too Fast!"? MY BIL found the record in a thrift shop in the Hybla Valley area of NoVa in the 90s. Good mix of ballads and hard rock. Here are the credits: Bass [Bass Response], Vocals – Jerome Reeves
Design [Album], Graphics – Paul I. Pettys
Drums, Percussion – Eric Dean (2)
Engineer – Roger Fortner, Steve Easter (4)
Lead Guitar, Rhythm Guitar – Steve Helm (2)
Photography By – Bill Littell, Dan Wilson (21), Kevin Crafton
Producer – Katharsis (15)
Typography [Typesetting By] – Peggy Dunnagan
Vocals – Jim McLeod (4)
Vocals, Rhythm Guitar – Dwight Huthwaite
Written-By – Huthwaite*, McLeod* (tracks: A2, B1, B3) Also, says recorded at Granite City Studios, NC. And Booking Info says to contact J C Sof (sp?) Productions, 501 Fairfax Rd. Suite 322 Blacksburg, VA 24060. As a record collector, I enjoy discovering rare, hidden gems like this and researching them. Any body know/see/hear this band? Any and all info welcome and most appreciated!!!
