Mid-March this year is like May in other years....

When our kids were those ages, we enjoyed a long weekend at Luray Caverns, Natural Bridge, and Lexington. The kids loved the caverns (and the souvenir rocks in the gift shop). Natural Bridge was also very nice (with stuff to keep the kid’s interest) and the nearby zoo was a lot of fun since you drive through the park and feed large beasts…great fun for the kids. We also did a ton of kid-friendly hikes along Skyline Drive / Blue Ridge Pkwy. Good meals in Lexington. T’was a great experience.
